Dale Alan Slabaugh is the founder and principal in charge of design and project administration. With over 35 years experience in Southwest Florida, Dale is expertly familiar and very knowledgeable regarding our subtropical environment and has been designing and implementing landscapes successfully since 1976. He studied at The University of Florida, Gainesville, where he earned a BS in Landscape Architecture.
Dale designed and implemented the landscape, irrigation, hardscape and lighting of the Naples Grande Beach Resort at its inception in 1982 as well was the Sharaton Harborplace on the river in Ft. Myers.
Having grown up in the Northeast Cleveland area where he started his own landscape company, he is well versed in the planting material that is used in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.
This class rocks. I learned how to build my own dam the first week! Some lectures are a bit difficult to understand (Pyramids for Dummies was one of these), but overall, I really liked this class.
